Debt Consolidation Calculator (Digital Download)
Got a loan offer or a 0% balance-transfer card in your mailbox and wondering if it's actually worth it? This calculator gives you a straight answer in numbers.
Enter your debts and the offers you've been quoted, and the dashboard shows which option costs the least overall, interest and fees included. Most debt trackers only show snowball and avalanche. This one also puts consolidation loans, balance-transfer cards and home equity side by side with keeping things as they are.
Light or dark, your choice
You get two versions with the same features: the bright Daylight spreadsheet and a free Midnight dark mode. Use whichever is easier on your eyes.

FAQ
Do I need to know spreadsheets?
No. You only type in the light-blue cells. Everything else calculates on its own. In Excel, formulas are protected (no password) so they don't get erased by accident; in Google Sheets they aren't locked, so undo any slip with File > Version history.
Will it show a debt-free date?
Yes. Set your start month and each option shows an estimated debt-free month.
What about home equity?
You can include it, but the sheet clearly warns that it's secured by your home.
Does it recommend a lender?
No. It doesn't recommend any lender and we don't receive referral fees. Always read an offer's actual terms, and consider talking to a nonprofit credit counselor.
Not financial advice. This is a calculator that shows estimates based on the numbers you enter.
